2001 Season - Week 20

Superbowl XXXVI

It’s the powerhouse versus the Cinderella Team as St. Louis (sporting a league best 16 wins and 2 losses) will play New England in The Big Easy on Sunday Night. New England were 2-3 at the end of October with a QB nobody had heard of (Tom Brady) after the NFL’s highest paid player (Drew Bledsoe) had been injured back in week 3. St. Louis beat New England 24-17 back on November 18 but since then The Pats have won 8 straight games and now sport a 13-5 record. BUMSBowl VI Marcus’s dominating season continues as he beat Dave Stamp 33-24 and has a chance to be the first BUMS Owner to do the Double. Mark will be out to stop him as he beat defending champion Gareth 29-18. Mark is attempting to win a trophy for the fourth consecutive year having won the Papas Fritas the last two years and BUMSBowl III back at the end of the 1998 season. As Mark flies out to New Orleans to see the Big Game on Friday CAN YOU BOTH SUPPLY YOUR BUMSBOWL TEAMS BY 9PM WEDNESDAY. All-Time Points Leader The calculations have been made and Johnny continues to be the All-Time leading points scorer (See attached). There is little change at the top of the overall scores but Marcus’s Cinderella season means he has moved from bottom of the average scores to 14th (out of 17). Also moving up was Paul who has climbed from 9th to 12th. John’s disastrous season sees him drop from 10th to 14th. Although Dave G is bottom of the averages table with an annual score of 350.7 he is just a TD a year away from John, 3 spots higher up the table. Franchise Players 2002-2003 & All-BUMS Voting Just a reminder that this information needs to be with me by Thursday 31st January.
